Q: What is this service for? A: It is used for sending large files without filling peoples’ e-mail inboxes.
Q: Who uses this service? A: Anyone who is having trouble when sending files, especially business users.
Q: What is a file package? A: A file package has one or more files that are uploaded into our system by a user.
Q: How long will you store my files? A: At the moment we store each file package for three weeks.
Q: Do you have file size restrictions? A: The standard limitation is 1 Gigabytes per file package. If you need more capacity please send e-mail to our customer service info(at)innofile.com.
Q: What kind of files can I upload to your service? A: There is no restrictions for file types. You can upload any files you want.
Q: Are my files safe? A: Our servers are located in Central Helsinki, Finland. Our equipment is located in premises that fulfill Ficora’s (Finnish Communication Authority) requirements for an important telecommunications area. For further information, please see our Terms of Service [PDF].
Q: How do I use the link that points to the uploaded files? A: You can copy and paste the link wherever you want: web pages, e-mail or instant messenger, for example.
Q: Are all the three steps necessary? A: We constantly try to simplify the whole sending process. Step 2 (”activation”) is currently necessary to ensure that only legitimate users can get their links.
Q: Why use this service, e-mail attachments work just fine for me? A: You cannot reliably send large files via e-mail. Many people battle with their filling inboxes, why add their burden?
Q: How do I buy? A: Please see our ordering instructions and pricing list.
Q: Many companies offer unlimited storage, why not you? A: Unlike many other file transfer services we do not use any third party advetisements on our site. By charging a small fee per file package we can maintain reliability of the service.

Q: Can I use/distribute direct file link within a file package? A: Files can be downloaded only from file package context. Single file cannot be downloaded without accessing the file package first. We deliver file packages that the sender has created.
